If you pay tax in the UK we can claim 25% back from the HM Revenue & Customs on any qualifying donations that you make.
Please fill out either a single donation form for a one off donation or a multiple donations form for more than one donation.
By filling out either form you are declaring that your are a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer.

Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows charities to reclaim the tax that you have already paid on your donations through income tax or capital gains tax.
The declaration gives the Pet Foodbank Service the authority to reclaim tax from HM Revenue and Customs on your gift. By making the declaration, you are confirming that you understand this.
To be eligible you have to be a UK taxpayer, paying tax on your salary, savings, investments, pensions or capital gains. All these qualify, as long as the total tax you pay is at least equal to the amount we, and other charities you donate to, can reclaim on your donations.
For every donation you give, we get an extra 25% from the government. So if you give a £20 gift it will be worth £25 – with the extra £5 coming from the government. It also counts for donations you’ve made in the past, up to four years ago, when using the multiple donations form.
No. Gift Aid is taken from tax you’ve already paid, so there’s no charge to you. It doesn’t affect your tax status either.
No. Once you’ve completed and returned your multiple donations form, you won’t have to do it again. You should however, let us know if your tax status changes by e-mailing us at giftaid@petfoodbankservice.co.uk
That’s great. You can Gift Aid all your donations to different charities – you just have to tick the Gift Aid declaration for each charity and Community Amateur Sports Club you support, and make sure you pay enough tax to cover them. Again, if you’re unsure, feel free to e-mail us at giftaid@petfoodbankservice.co.uk
Charities can only claim back tax at the basic rate, but that is still worth 25% to us, so please complete and return the declaration anyway.
